*The farm has a new pocket of funding from Countryside Stewardship to deliver complimentary farm visits so we are officially a registered Social Farm & Garden – for more information please get in touch
* The farm also has funding and a remit for woodland and farm environment management, again under the Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier Scheme, activities on offer will include: tree planting, woodland ride creation and maintenance, dry stone walling and fencing – participants welcome, please get in touch for more information.
*We are working behind the scenes on funding applications to develop the site and deliver new activities for 2019 – so watch this space
*Do Something Different camping residentials are primed and ready for summer bookings so with only 6 weeks to offer get in there first with your preferred dates
*As a Community Partner, we will be welcoming our friends from NCS The Challenge over the summer too
Last and by no means least, we need volunteers to join the team in all of our working, whether it’s hands on with school groups, or weekend community activities, developing our growing allotment, maintaining our hedgerows or helping behind the scenes with IT, Media, and admin – maybe, you d like to get out more and learn some new skills based in the countryside?
We are looking for musicians and artists, wellbeing practitioners, woodland and countryside practitioners, children’s workers, youth workers, SEN specialists, if you are interested please do get in touch, it would be lovely to meet up over coffee and chat some more!
Happy New Year!!
