Following the installation of a 24 ft polytunnel last year, #ThanksToLotteryPlayers and thanks to The National lottery Heritage Fund, https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/ we will be launching not just 1 but 2 new activities that are allotment based for education, health & wellbeing.
Allotment Tuesdays - starts 11th June 2024 10.00 am - 2 pm every Tuesday.
These days are led by our very wonderful, growing-things-and-community obssessed Claire Coulton. Claire's professional background is teaching, however, like many teachers, she has now transferred her skills into other ventures and is pouring all of her creativity and enthusiasm into nature connection, growing fresh food, cooking and sharing in community. Claire has plenty of TLC for everyone and a common sense approach that enables even the least experienced of us to get involved.
Join Claire and give it a try! The programme will include growing, harvesting and even some cookery outdoors and of course the eating !!! You can email Claire on: volunteers@harwesfarm.co.uk
